What does the Quran say about women’s jobs?

What does the Quran say about women’s jobs?? Many Muslim sisters ask this question. In today’s article, we will see how women’s careers are evaluated in Islam.

All in all, Islam has placed women in a position of dignity. However, there are many differences between Islamic and Western views.

But the Islamic perspective nurtured a sophisticated and rich thought which was active enough to protect the dignity and honour of women throughout the ages.

What does the Quran say about women’s jobs?

Quran says women’s jobs: The Qur’an does not prohibit women from making women’s careers. Just as men rush to work to satisfy their needs to satisfy their hunger, a woman can also work for her needs.

An educated woman will bring honour to the country, society, state, and family by using her talent and ability. Women can also come forward in business and become successful entrepreneurs.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala says in the Qur’an, “I have made trade lawful, and usury is forbidden (Surah Baqarah, 186)”.

Here Allah has not said anything separately for men or women. The verse applies equally to both men and women.

Only two things need to be confirmed. First, the source of employment must be halal; the employer must comply with the second screen.

The condition of halal employment applies to both men and women. Along with religion, the state and society also demand that a citizen should not earn income illegally.

What does the hadith say about women’s work?

Kayla – Radiyallahu Anha – Narrated Rasulullah – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – While performing an Umrah, I came to him at the foot of Mount Marwa. I said, O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman. I shop.

I did less than my asking price if I wanted to buy something. Then increase the cost to reach my desired price.

Again, if I want to sell something, I ask for more than the asking price. Then reduce the cost to come down to my desired price finally.

May Allah bless and grant him peace; Rasulullah said, O Kayla, do not do that. If you want to buy something, tell your desired price, whether or not you will be given it.

He also said, If you want to sell something, ask for the price you wish to; either you will give it, or you will not give it (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 2004).

What do Islamic scholars say about women’s jobs?

Quran says women’s jobs: In ancient times, some Islamic scholars said women did not need to work.

There is no need for women to work because all the financial responsibilities of women are left to their male guardians.

But if, in any case, a woman loses her male guardian, and is forced to work, then Islamic scholars say that this woman can work.

When a woman is under her father, the father assumes her financial responsibility. And after marriage, the husband is bound to meet her financial needs.

This is the guidance of Islam, but in cases where the husband dies, or the wife is divorced, a woman can work.

In this situation, she can earn money by working for her children’s education and food. Islam does not prohibit it.
