All such activities are valid, which would not be valid without the relationship between husband and wife. They expect something from each other that is not valid to expect from others.
One of the things she wants is to take a bath together. It is beneficial to want to make marital life more beautiful.
But the question remains, is it permissible to do so? Can a husband and wife bath together in Islam?

Can a husband and wife bath together in Islam?
In Islam, it is entirely halal for husband and wife to bathe together. There is no problem whether they have sex in the bath or not.
Aisha – Radiyallahu Anha – Narrated –
كنت أغتسل أنا والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من إناء واحد
Translation: the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I used to bathe using water from a pot. (Sahih Bukhari – 250)
Ibn ‘Abbas – Radiyallahu Anhu – Narrated –
أخبرتني ميمونة أنها كانت تغتسل هي والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من إناء واحد.
Translation: Maimuna – Radiyallahu Anha – informed me that he and the Messenger of Allah – Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam – used to bathe (using water) from the same vessel.
These two hadiths prove that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his wives used to bathe together.
So Muslim couples have no problem bathing together. Instead, it helps to make the husband-wife relationship more lively.
Husband and wife bath together – Aimmaye Karam’s opinion
Imam Nawabi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his commentary on Muslim Sharif:
It is unanimously permissible for a husband and wife to receive holiness from the same vessel (using water).
Imam Sanani – may Allah have mercy on him – said –
The hadith narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) is a Dalil that it is permissible for husband and wife to take a bath together. That’s the point.
Imam Shawqani – Rahimahullah – said in the book of Nailul Awtar –
No one disagrees that bathing and ablution are legal for men and women together.
Is it sunnah to shower with your wife?
It is a Sunnah for husband and wife to take a bath together. However, even if they take a bath separately, there is no problem.
Occasionally bathing can be done together to make love and romance towards the wife. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to take occasional baths with his wives.
While taking water from the pot, the hand Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) would stick to her hand.
These hadiths prove that it is Sunnah to take a bath with the middle wife occasionally. So don’t mind doing it.
Many people think that husband and wife must take a bath together. But the correct thing is that it is not obligatory.
Where can husband and wife shower together?
The bathroom is the best and safest place for husband and wife to bathe together. They will clean each other there, but no one else will see them.
They will close the bathroom properly while showering so that no one from outside can see their activities.
Because husband and wife bathe together, naturally, their clothes will be open. They will romance. No one else should see it.
And in an open place such as a pond, river, or beach, the husband and wife should not expose their clothes if they bathe together.
Because if husband and wife bathe together in an open place, other people will see their bodies.
It is forbidden. They will be guilty of this. Therefore husband and wife should not bathe together in open places.
When will husband and wife bathe together?
There is no specific time for husband and wife to bathe together. They can shower together whenever they want.
However, a bath becomes obligatory after the husband and wife have sexual intercourse. If they perform the obligatory bath together, then, in this case, the love relationship between husband and wife will be more profound.
They can make their married life more romantic. Moreover, apart from the obligatory ablution, they can also perform the other customary ablutions we serve daily.
How can a husband and wife shower?
There should be a romance between husband and wife taking a bath together. In this regard, they can follow the World Prophet Muhammad – may peace be upon him – and his wife Aisha – Radiyallahu Ta’ala Anhua.
Aisha – Radiyallahu Ta’ala Anha – said: When I took ablution with the Messenger of Allah – may God bless him and grant him peace – we used to take water from the same bucket. We used to struggle with water.
Muslim couples can play with each other with water while bathing together in the bathroom.
In this way, one can put soap on the other’s body, hug, kiss, and rub the other. These will add romance to their married life.
Can husband and wife be naked during bathing?
The wife can see the private parts of her husband’s body. Similarly, it is lawful for a husband to see his wife’s details.
Because there is no such thing as Awrah between husband and wife, in the Holy Qur’an, Allah the Almighty has mentioned that husband and wife are worn by one another.
In another verse, he says –
والذين هم لفروجهم حافظون إلا على أزواجهم أو ما ملكت أيمانهم فإنهم غير ملومين
Translation: Those who guard their private parts against all women except their wives and maids are not slandered.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates in a hadith in Bukhari –
كنت أغتسل أنا والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من إناء واحد .
Translation: the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I used to bathe using water from a pot. (Sahih Bukhari – 250)
Hafiz Ibn Hazar – may Allah have mercy on him – said –
Is it permissible to take a bath with one’s wife while fasting?
We have discussed above – husband and wife can take a bath together. It is a Sunnah.
At the same time, they can see each other’s private parts. It remains valid for them. No problem.
But the question is whether the husband and wife can bathe together while fasting.
If a husband and wife bathe while fasting and see each other’s genitals, there is no possibility of sexual intercourse, which is valid.
