The message of Dajjal in the Quran. It will be an exceedingly dreadful day indeed. Imagine one day you wake up.
Then you saw that the whole world had changed. People are in shortage of food, and there is a shortage of money.
Rain is not falling from the sky, the trees are not bearing fruit, and the cattle are dying. There was only moaning and moaning all around.
Then a strong man appeared. He came and said if you accept me as Lord, I will give you food, water, and accommodation and will remove all your problems. If you do not get me as Lord, I will kill you.
At this critical moment, all except the perfect believers will accept the Dajjal as their Lord.
As a result, Dajjal will temporarily remove their difficulties. But those who accept him as their Lord for temporary pleasure will be punished in Hell for eternity.
Dear readers, in this article, we discuss the arrival of Dajjal in the Holy Quran.
If you read the whole article, you will understand how big Dajjal will transform into a terrible force in the next world. Also, you will know what we must do to escape his temptation.
Dajjal in Quran – The arrival of a terrible man
There is no Dajjal in the Qur’an. Specifically, the word Dajjar is not even mentioned in the Holy Quran.
Now the question naturally arises if Dajjal is not in the Quran, then why do Muslims believe in Dajjal? Does Hy d discuss Dajjal? Hy ar Muslims so afraid of Dajjal?
We can say that the Dajjal is not discussed in the Holy Quran, though. the coming of Dajjal is clearly and strongly proved in pure hadith, which leaves no room for disbelief.
The Qur’an talks about Yajuz Majuj. As Allah Ta’ala says,
Translation: They said, ‘O Dhul-Qarnain! Indeed, Ya’juj and Maguj are causing trouble in the land, so shall we pay you something to build a wall between us and them? (Surah Kahf, verse – 94)
In this way, another sign before doomsday is that a creature will appear through a hole in the ground. All h Ta’ala says.
Translation: ‘When the promise (Doomsday) draws near, I will bring forth a creature from the earth before them. He will speak to the people: that the people did not believe in My signs. (Surah Namal – 82)
Although there is no verse about Dajjal, no Muslim can deny the coming of Dajjal because Dajjal’s fitna is one of the ten significant signs of doomsday.
Dajjal in hadith
Dajjal will appear shortly, a d there is no greater danger to humanity than Dajjal. Especially for those believers who will be alive then, it will be tough to persist in faith.
All the Prophets gave their ummah the message of Dajjal. May A ah blesses and grants him peace; Rasulullah warned us of Dajjal’s fitna.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):
One day Rasulullah – may Allah bless and grant him peace – stood up and praised Allah. Then Dajjal discussed and said: I am warning you against his fitnah.
All the prophets warned their ummah of Dajjal. But I will tell you a sign of the Dajjal, which no prophet has said. Dajjal will be blind. And our great God is not blind.
Nawas bin Sam’an (RA) said:
“One morning, Rasulullah – may Allah bless and grant him peace – discussed Dajjal with us, magnifying his fitnah.
After hearing the description, we thought – maybe he was staying next to the nearby date palm plantation. Then we left Rasulullah – may Allah bless and grant him peace – from the Majlis.
After some time, we went to him again. Now he understood our situation and asked – what happened to you? We said – O Messenger of Allah, hearing how you discussed the Dajjal, we thought he might be inside the date palm garden.
The Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him – said – I fear you more than the Dajjal. If the Dajjal comes while I am alive among you, I will fight against him alone without you.
And if he comes after I am gone, let every man take care of himself. And if I leave, Allah is sufficient as a guardian for every Muslim. (Tirmidhi, Chapter: Kitabul Fitan.)
Signs of Dajjal in the Quran and Hadith
Dajjal will be a man and no other animal. But he will have some special powers.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated several of his signs to highlight his identity and to warn them against his fitnah.
Believers will be fully aware of all the characteristics that the Prophet – may Allah bless and grant him peace – mentioned.
Dajjal will have unique characteristics compared to others, and Dajjal will fool no one except the ignorant and the unfortunate.
The Prophet saw the Dajjal in a dream and described his physical form. He said – Dajjal will be a large young man, the color of his body will be red and twisted, and the hair on his head will be curly.
The forehead will be high, the chest will be broad, and the eyes will be flat and high like grapes. Dajjal will be destroyed, and he will have no children.
Also, there are some unique signs of Dajjal, which we discuss below.
- Dajjal will have no eyes.
- Between the two eyes of the Dajjal will be the writing of infidelity.
- Can travel from one place to another very quickly.
- Heaven and hell will be with Dajjal.
- Dajjal will bring the dead back to life.
- Inanimate matter and animals will also respond to Dajjal’s call.
- Dajjal will kill a believing youth and bring him back to life.
- Most of Dajjal’s followers will be Jews, Turks, and non-Arabs.
- Dajjal will not be able to enter Mecca and Medina.
What is the way to escape from Dajjal’s temptation?
The following are the ways to escape from Dajjal’s fitnah:
- The proper grip on Islam: Right grip on Islam. Sticking to faith. Deep knowledge of the Quran and Hadith.
- Seeking refuge with Allah from the Fitnah of the Dajjal, Ayesha (RA) said, “I heard the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – seek refuge from the Fitnah of the Dajjal within the prayer.”
He used to say at the end of the prayer:
O, Allah! I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave, the discipline of Hell, the trial of life and death, and the practice of the false Dajjal.”
- Stay away from Dajjal. The Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – forbade going to the Dajjal. Because he will come to a man who thinks he is a believer.
Seeing Dajjal’s actions, he will be confused and lose faith. If possible, the believer should try to live in Madina or Makkah because Dajjal cannot enter it.
4. Reciting Surah Kahf of the Holy Quran. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded the believers to memorize Surah Kahf and recite it when faced with the fitnah of Dajjal.
He said: “Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Kahaf will be protected from the fitnah of Dajjal.”
What will be the end of Dajjal in Islam?
Dajjal will be killed by Jesus Ibn Maryam (AS). At that time, Jesus (A.S.) will descend from the sky on the white minaret of a mosque located on the eastern edge of the city of Damascus.
After that, Jesus (A.S.) will capture the Dajjal at the gate of the city of Ludd in Palestine, and Jesus (AS) will hit him with a spear.
Then the Muslims will fight against the Jews under his leadership, and the Jews will defeat the Dajjal’s army at the hands of the Muslims.
They will have nowhere to run. If you try to escape behind the tree, the tree will say O Muslim! Come on, and a Jew is hiding behind me. Come and kill him.
If you run behind a rock or wall, the stone or wall will say, O Muslim, a Jew is hiding behind me; come, kill him. But the tree Garkad will try to hide the Jews because it is known as the tree of the Jews.
